Privacy and personal data

qbitmarket is a non-commercial QANPlatform testnet site. It does not require a traditional account, but optional wallet-linked features can involve personal data if you choose to provide it.

Last updated: May 2026

Controller and contact

Controller: qbitmarket testnet deployment operator, an individual operator based in Spain.

Privacy contact: privacy@qbitmarket.app. The operator may request wallet-signature verification before acting on wallet-linked data requests.

Wallet-linked identity

Wallet addresses, aliases, avatars, creator profile text, social links, favorites, follows, ratings, watched drops, and collection visibility settings may be stored to make the testnet site work. This data is associated with your public wallet address, not with a name or email unless you voluntarily provide one.

Notifications

If you opt in, qbitmarket may store notification preferences, in-app notification state, browser push subscription data, Telegram chat-link data, and verified notification email address. Each channel requires an explicit opt-in action and can be revoked from Settings at any time.

Uploads and metadata

Collection, token, image, and profile metadata that you choose to publish may be uploaded to object storage or IPFS-style gateways and can become public or difficult to remove. Do not upload personal data you are not comfortable making permanently public.

Technical records

The site may keep server logs, request metadata, transaction references, and operational records needed for security, debugging, abuse prevention, and testnet reliability. These records are retained for up to 90 days and are not used for profiling or advertising.

Cookies and local storage

qbitmarket_low_risk_session — strictly necessary cookie

A short-lived session token set after you sign a low-risk wallet action. It avoids requiring a new wallet signature for every subsequent low-risk operation in the same session. Expires automatically after 30 minutes. No consent is required because this cookie is strictly necessary for the feature to function.

Local storage — strictly necessary

The site uses your browser's localStorage to remember UI preferences such as color mode and notification panel state. This data stays in your browser only and is never transmitted to any server.

No analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies are used. No third-party scripts set cookies on this site.

Why the data is used

Data is used to provide wallet-linked site features, maintain notification preferences, protect the service, troubleshoot testnet flows, and show public community signals. Optional profile and notification data is based on your choice to provide or enable it (consent). Security and operational records are used for the site operator's legitimate interest in running a safe testnet service. No data is used for advertising, profiling, or automated decision-making.

Sharing, retention, and public data

Off-chain data may be processed by the service providers listed below. Blockchain transactions, wallet addresses, and public metadata are visible on QANPlatform testnet and external explorers by nature of the technology.

Optional off-chain data (alias, avatar, notification preferences, social links) is kept while the related wallet-linked feature is active. Server logs and operational records are retained for up to 90 days. Following a valid deletion request, the operator targets removal within 30 days where technically feasible. Some public blockchain and IPFS-style records cannot be deleted by qbitmarket after publication.
